The tool, weighing 6.1 kg, is characterized by compact overall dimensions, simplified access to adjustment points and filler necks. The saw is equipped with a carburetor two-stroke internal combustion engine, running on a mixture of high-octane gasoline and motor oil in a ratio of 50:1. The power unit with a volume of 70.7 cm3 develops a power of 3.9 kW in operating mode.

Model description

The Husqvarna 372-XP chainsaw belongs to the class of professional tools designed for intense loads and capable of working for a long time in active mode. The intended purpose of the Husqvarna 372-hr chainsaw is cutting large and medium-sized logs, pruning large branches, preparing firewood for the winter, and construction work that requires harvesting a large cubic capacity of wood.

The Husqvarna 372-xr chainsaw is equipped with a two-stroke gasoline engine. The power of the unit is 4100 W, which is equivalent to 5.6 hp. The engine cylinder capacity is 70.7 cubic meters. cm. The model is one of the most powerful in its class and is very popular due to its wear resistance and high-quality connection of internal components.

Working equipment

The set consists of an 18" guide bar, a standard H42 cutting chain with 3/8" pitch and a side tensioner. The universal design of the connecting unit makes it possible to install alternative bus-chain sets with a length of 38 to 70 cm.

The chain is lubricated and cooled automatically. A variable displacement pump takes oil from an internal reservoir and delivers it at a rate of 4 to 20 ml/min to the work area.

Operational safety is ensured by an emergency inertial brake, which instantly blocks the movement of the chain in the event of an unusual situation. If there is a driven sprocket in the tire, its bearing is lubricated separately, every 7-8 hours of operation.

Running in the saw

A mandatory procedure before using the saw is running-in. This is done to ensure that the engine parts run in. The running-in process itself consists of the following points:

1. Preparing the mixture. To do this, mix oil and gasoline in the proportions specified in the instructions. It is advisable to use high-quality materials, as inexpensive analogues will quickly lead to engine failure.
2. Pour oil into the chain lubrication reservoir. Checking the presence is simple - place the saw over a white piece of paper and briefly turn on the saw. If oil stains appear on the sheet, then the lubrication system is working.
3. Start the saw and operate it without load.

Important! Do not use the saw at idle speed for more than 15 minutes. Continuous work with the saw is carried out for no more than 3 hours.

Advantages and disadvantages

Background.

Counterfeit chainsaws can be divided into two types: those that they tried to make similar to the original and others that were not particularly concerned about their resemblance to the original. This story will be about the latter.

There are several models of chainsaws that are mass-produced by our Chinese friends. We are only interested in three, which can be called “ChainSaw 4500”, “ChainSaw 5200” and “ChainSaw 6300”. These chainsaws have parameters, performance characteristics and a fairly recognizable appearance. It is these chainsaws that you can see among people who will soon be selling counterfeits at street intersections and online flea markets.

The counterfeit production technology is as follows:

• take any of the chainsaws mentioned above
• A piece of paper with the name of a famous brand and model is stuck on the chainsaw

The similarity of the fake to the model indicated on the piece of paper and the very fact of the existence of the model indicated on the piece of paper does not matter. At all. Yes, absolutely! Yes, “it doesn’t happen like that,” but that’s exactly the point. When this whole bacchanalia began 5 years ago, the pieces of paper said Husqvarna 5200 or Husqvarna 4500. However, Husqvarna does not have such models at all, and the authors of the fakes had to modernize production - they began to print more believable labels. This is how the Husqvarna 365XP and Husqvarna 372XP chainsaws appeared on the market. If you follow the links provided, you will find that the fakes not only do not resemble real models of Husqvarna chainsaws, but also do not have any logic in the markings. There may be two different saws in front of you with stickers “Husqvarna 372XP-20” or two absolutely identical saws with different stickers. I consider this fake to be the height of skill:

This story will be about a person who most often signed himself “Yuri” and indicated his place of residence in the vicinity of the Moscow metro station “Vykhino”. Yuri started like everyone else, with Husqvarna 365XP and Husqvarna 372XP chainsaws, but unlike his street colleagues, he worked in a place of increased danger - the Internet. In the fight against the denigration of his products, Yuri is introducing the Husqvarna 365HP and Husqvarna 372HP chainsaws to the market. All 4 models are exhibited on the Internet with the same photos.

Apparently, our hero was not bothered by the fact that the name “Husqvarna 372XP” was read in the photographs. This chainsaw was offered at a price from 2500 to 3000 rubles. The same photographs, the address “Moscow, Vykhino”, description and one of two telephone numbers 8-916-016-…-… or 8-915-353-…-… (the ads have all the numbers, I just don’t show everything please, however.)

Quite recently, already in 2013, I expressed the idea that all the ads for “Husqvarna 372HP Chainsaw” are dedicated to fakes and was met with indignation “was an examination carried out?” But Yuri from Vykhino already understood in 2010 that fakeness was creeping in from photographs and was working ahead of the curve.

I admit, the first time I briefly looked through it, I bought it, and only then realized what it was. This chainsaw was offered at the same price from 2500 to 3000 rubles. And again the photographs, name, address, description and telephone number indicated that the seller was the same for all lots, and this was again our hero.

However, Yuri wants to sit on two chairs and puts both versions of chainsaws on the same ad sites, with the same contact details under the same name “Husqvarna 372HP”. Fade!

New! Chainsaw Husqvarna 372HP+ (with a plus sign in the name)

No, I didn't mix up the photos. This is not the previous Husqvarna 372HP chainsaw, but a new product for the spring 2011 season - the Husqvarna 372HP+ chainsaw (with a plus sign in the name). And the price for it is already from 3000 to 3500 rubles.

This is a definite marketing success! Yuri now doesn’t just sell bullshit - he is a seller of a line of chainsaws and an exclusive distributor of Husqvarna...HP chainsaws (don’t forget that he also has a Husqvarna 365HP). And it doesn’t matter that all his chainsaws have “Husqvarna 372XP” written on them.

And again our hero does not stand still. The Husqvarna 372HP+ chainsaw has outlines similar to the real Husqvarna 372XP chainsaw (after all, the brat found such air filter and starter covers somewhere). Yuri is once again expanding his product line.

And again, no - I didn't mix up the photos. These are not photos from the previous Husqvarna 372HP and Husqvarna 372HP+. Now you see a new product for autumn 2011 - the Husqvarna 372XP-d chainsaw. The price is strictly 3500 and not a penny less!

But the market did not appreciate such innovation. Apparently, the buyers turned out to be a little less idiots than expected. Without any expertise, buyers understand that the Husqvarna 372XP-d is far from the same as the Husqvarna 372XP. At the beginning of 2012, Yuri from Vykhino removed this chainsaw from the range.

I have been following the story of the Husqvarna 372HP chainsaw with fascination for the last 3 years. During the season, Yuri from “Moscow, Vykhino” posted several ads a week on all major ad sites. The same photos, descriptions and phone numbers. His fluctuations with prices, his experiments with names are clearly visible. One glance at the title “Husqvarna 372HP chainsaw. Moscow, Vykhino” was enough to understand that we are talking about Yuri’s fakes. And he sold and sold everything. All of his chainsaws were labeled "Husqvarna 372XP", but that didn't stop him from selling a whole bunch of Husqvarna 365HP, Husqvarna 372HP and Husqvarna 372HP+ chainsaws. Insolent or crazy?

Guardians of small business and the human right to sell any bullshit to another person will be outraged by the ease with which I label our hero’s goods “counterfeit.” First, you need to conduct complex examinations, obtain conclusions, win in court, and only after that claim that the Husqvarna 372HP units are not real Husqvarna 372XP. Given this formulation of the question, I agree with them.

However, I do it simpler. I'm not checking whether this bullshit is "not a real Husqvarna chainsaw", but whether it's one of those three saws that were mentioned at the beginning. And I just look at the characteristic details present in the ChainSaw 4500, ChainSaw 5200 and ChainSaw 6300.

In addition, the examination of falsification is powerless here. If you prove that the Husqvarna 372HP is a fake, they will put a different label on it. They have a LOT OF DIFFERENT LABELS which they shamelessly PUT ON THE SAME MODELS. I can easily name five of the most popular Husqvarna decals and just as many Stihl decals.
