Assembly and preparation for work

The standard configuration of the chainsaw includes the following elements (Fig. 2):

- Chainsaw.
– Saw chain.
– Guide bar.
– Chain guard.
- A set of keys.

Open the box and install the guide bar and saw chain onto the chainsaw body:

Pull the stop towards the front handle to ensure that the saw chain brake is not engaged.
Loosen the nuts and remove the cover.
Place the chain on the sprocket, then place the chain on the guide bar. Adjust the position of the chain tension nut (Fig. 3).

Install the chain tension nut into the lower hole of the guide bar and then install the chain cover. Tighten the mounting nut with your fingers.
While holding the bar end, adjust the chain tension by turning the tension adjustment screw until the saw chain is properly tensioned.
Tighten the nuts carefully, keeping the bar end up (tightening torque 12–15 Nm). Rotate the chain by hand and check for smooth rotation and proper tension. If necessary, perform the adjustment again.

Refueling

The ratio of gasoline to oil is selected according to the oil manufacturer's recommendations!

Only unleaded gasoline is permitted for use.
The octane number of gasoline should not be less than 92.
When using gasoline with an octane number higher than 92, there is a risk of engine overheating and, as a result, engine failure.
Low quality gasoline and/or oil can damage the engine O-rings, fuel lines, and fuel tank.
Contaminated gasoline can clog the carburetor and damage the engine piston group.
The engine is lubricated with a special oil designed for 2-stroke air-cooled engines.

Carefully study the oil manufacturer's recommendations and follow their instructions for creating the fuel mixture.

Preparing the fuel mixture

Measure out the required amount of gasoline and oil to create a gasoline mixture.
Pour some of the gasoline into a special clean canister.
Then pour all the oil into this canister and shake well.
Pour the rest of the gasoline into this canister and shake the resulting mixture well for at least 1 minute. Since some types of oil contain various additional components, additional time will be required to stir the oil into gasoline.
It is recommended to sign this canister stating its contents.

Refueling a chainsaw

Unscrew and remove the fuel tank cap. Place it on a clean, dry surface.
Fill the fuel tank 80% with gasoline mixture.
Screw on the fuel tank cap and wipe dry any possible fuel leaks on the chainsaw.

To extend the life of your engine, avoid:

WORKING ON PETROL WITHOUT OIL (PURE GASOLINE). It will cause damage to the internal parts of the engine very quickly.
USING OIL FOR 4-STROKE ENGINES. It can cause fouling of the spark plug, blocking of the exhaust passage, and also sticking of the piston rings.
WORKING WITH OLD PETROL MIXTURE, which has not been used for more than one month. It will cause contamination of the carburetor and, as a result, improper operation of the engine.
If the product is stored for a long time, empty the fuel tank and start the engine to exhaust the remaining gasoline mixture from the carburetor.

Chain oil

It is necessary to use a special saw chain oil suitable for use at any time of the year. Do not use used or reclaimed oil as this may damage the oil pump.

Open the cover of oil tank 1 (Fig. 6.1).
Fill the tank with special saw chain oil.
Do not spill oil on the device or fill the tank to the brim.
Screw the oil tank cap on tightly.
Check the oil level every time before starting work.
If the amount of oil in the oil tank does not decrease, this may indicate damage to the supply system. Contact an authorized service center.

When starting up for the first time and after storing the saw for a long time, inject the saw bar sprocket.

1. Fill a syringe with a small amount of special saw chain oil. 2. Fill into special hole 1, located at the tip of the tire next to the gear. 3. Remove excess oil with a cloth.
