Chain lubrication system

Oil pumps have different designs (piston or diaphragm) and are made of different materials (metal or plastic). They are activated by a gear train receiving its movement from the drive sprocket. The performance of the pump depends on the speed of the drive sprocket; the higher it is, the more oil enters the saw chain.
